chasingthegreenfaerie | actually fairy is also a word and there is actually a difference between a fairy and faerie. i googled it out of curiosity and also wanted to know if ive been spelling it wrong all my life. also other sources say that fairy is the standard modern spelling, and faerie is a pseudo-archaism used by writers to make things sound more poetic or something idk. faerie sure does sound more elegant anyways. sorry lol im really bored right now.

I’ve always thought faerie was an older spelling of the word, but I think it looks better than fairy. Just a preference on my part I guess, but interesting to know!
